*On a personal note ~ I walked out to the harbour from
downtown
Churchill about a mile or more along a barren road over open tundra.
It was wicked cold with the wind chill blowing in across ice-covered
Hudson Bay. I froze my face so severely that I still have a small
patch of dead skin at the end of my nose to this day. I took a
taxi back.
